Recycling is the reclamation of old products into new ones, which saves our precious natural resources and energy consumption. Recycling also benefits our local economy by providing jobs to help organize, collect and process the resources. More importantly, recycling reduces carbon emissions released into the atmosphere and helps us reduce the amount of waste we bury in landfills.

Aluminum
All forms of aluminum from window frames to soda cans are accepted. Aluminum cans and pie plates can be included with comingled household items or separated. All other forms of aluminum is considered scrap metal and goes into the scrap metal container.

Electronics
& TV's
Computers, cell phones, cell phone batteries, key boards, televisions, stereos, speakers, these items are separate from all other types of recycling.Click here for a detailed list.

Glass: Clear, Brown and Colors
All colors of jars and bottles accepted. No broken glass or ceramics. Separate wine bottles and place all other glass into comingled container.

Paper: Paper, Newspaper, Food Boxes, Beverage Boxes & Magazines
Shredded paper should be in a clear and tied plastic bag. Please keep your paper products dry. Separate newspaper from other paper items. All items except newspaper go into comingled recycling. Paper egg cartons are acceptable, as well as all colors of paper.

Plastics
Plastic bottle neck numbered 1—7 can be recycled at the centers. Empty, rinse and let air drive if needed. Place into comingled containers.

Steel Cans and Pie Plates
Food cans and pie plates made of tin go into your comingled recycling container.

Each resident can bring in up to 4 waste tires for disposal.

Limited
Household Hazardous Waste
Anti-Freeze, Batteries, Paint up to 5 gallons, Oil up to 5 gallons, and CFL Light Bulbs are accepted for free. Anything else or an excess of the items will incur a fee. Please keep these products separate from all other recycling.

Scrap Metal
Various metal items may be recycled at the center for free.
Large appliances like washing machines and dryers can be recycled for $8.00 each. Air Conditioners, Refrigerators and Freezers, etc are accepted
